Public dissemination of Illinois conviction information through the state repository is governed by the Uniform Conviction Information Act, 20 ILCS 2635. This operation is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Visitor information is not compiled into a consumer report or a dossier about another person.
